Transit is a three-track EP in which Sumi Kazama moves beyond EDM and classical influences into the world of jazz.
Inspired by jazz music heard during a journey to Takachiho, the EP was created as an OST for the emotional aftermath of Episode 12 of Lost Light, after the story returns to the present day.
“Return,” featuring IYO’s vocals, expresses the quiet emotions of coming home through a modern jazz sound. “Velvet” draws on the atmosphere of 1950s vocal jazz, giving IYO’s voice the feeling of an old film and a late-night stage. “Freeway,” an instrumental track, captures the cinematic rush of driving from Takachiho toward Usa Shrine.
Memories across time, a return to the present, and the beginning of another journey.

「Transit」は、Sumi KazamaがEDM、クラシックに続き、Jazzの表現へと踏み出した3曲構成のEP。
高千穂の旅の途中、蕎麦屋で流れていたJazzに触発されて生まれた本作は、物語「Lost Light」第12話で現代へ戻った後の余韻を描くOSTとして構成されています。
IYOのボーカルによる「Return」は、帰還後の静かな感情を現代的なJazzとして表現。「Velvet」は1950年代Jazzボーカルの質感をまとい、時代を越えて響く歌声を描きます。インストゥルメンタル「Freeway」は、高千穂から宇佐神宮へ向かう高速道路の疾走感を、映画的なサウンドで表現した楽曲です。
時間を越えた記憶、現代への帰還、そして新たな旅の始まり。
